Welcome to My Blog!
Schooling two active boys has never been more... interesting. That's the word I'm looking for!
I love my boys! God has given them the blessing of strong, active bodies and minds. We continually pray the first will remain intact, and the second will remain engaged with Him first, and then the school work. You'll meet my sweet sons, both entirely different, but both loving God to the best of their ability in the way He made them. I lovingly refer to them as my Bell Pepper Boy and my Habanero or Hambone. That should say it all!
This blog is an eclectic mix. The events, conversations, and the thoughts behind it all will be in here.
Every once in a while I'll try to capture something I don't want to forget. I hope you find things you enjoy. Please let me know if you do!
Blessings!

Ahhhh!
Posted in Mom Things
Hello, friends! I can't believe I've been here so sporadically. Most of you know that just not me, but you are probably also aware we don't exactly have normalcy at this point. I love when God begins to work in our lives in this way. It's as if He's given us a hint that something is coming, but we aren't so disrupted immediately. The only thing sort of disrupted is my mind, which I pray daily to calm. ;')
So, the yard sale is over. We had storms pass through both days, but there was a significant amount of time when the sun was out. Most of the weekend was cool and cloudy with a bit of rain here and there. At least we didn't die of heat out there, right? I sold some of the stuff, but there is still a lot left. All the clothes will be donated today. Some of the stuff is being put out as freebies. Some of it will go to a FreeCycle Free For All today. The big stuff I'll have to try to sell through Craigslist or something. *shrug*
Hmmm. What else is going on. . . .
Ah, my very good friend has been telling me about her Sabbath soul rest. I've been listening to her, and I've realized I'm not very good at getting that still and restful. So, this weekend, I really tried hard to get some time to really, really rest! And do you know what God did? He honored my hope!
There we were at church on Saturday night. My husband happened to be on the same campus, too. (Wasn't supposed to happen.) Then, our friends felt the need to go out to dinner after the service. . .and they invited us to go along! Better still, our conversation at dinner was fun, relaxing, satisfying, and deeply spiritual, too. It was FABULOUS! What a blessing they could bring the four of us along. :'D (Thanks, Kathy!!!!)
This week I'm hoping to get things back to normal, but I'll let you know what that meas as I go along. I think I'm going to my back doctor today, as I'm definitely not the same after all the "emergency responses" to the rain with the garage sale. :'P Thankfully, I feel rested in every other way!
Love you all! Thanks for stopping by even when I can't get around to everyone. I miss all of you a lot! Thank you for being gracious!
