Welcome to My Blog!
Schooling two active boys has never been more... interesting. That's the word I'm looking for!
I love my boys! God has given them the blessing of strong, active bodies and minds. We continually pray the first will remain intact, and the second will remain engaged with Him first, and then the school work. You'll meet my sweet sons, both entirely different, but both loving God to the best of their ability in the way He made them. I lovingly refer to them as my Bell Pepper Boy and my Habanero or Hambone. That should say it all!
This blog is an eclectic mix. The events, conversations, and the thoughts behind it all will be in here.
Every once in a while I'll try to capture something I don't want to forget. I hope you find things you enjoy. Please let me know if you do!

How Great Thou Art!

This morning I feel compelled to count the wonderful blessings God has given over the last few days or weeks. It sounds like a Thankful Thursday entry, but this is clearly not Thursday. So, I am thinking about how fabulously great God is today. Will you join with me in praising Him for His goodness and faithfulness and mercy?
Thank you, Father, for all the things that clearly show Your fingerprints on my everyday life!
- For working in my marriage. . .and then some
- For giving my Hero encouragement to seek Your face
- For blessing him with favor in Your eyes and in other people's
- For the interviews that bless both Hero and me
- For putting precious friends in my life at just the right time
- For helping me finish the things You prepared in advance for me to do
- For two amazing sons who are learning to seek Your face
- For the many things You have entrusted to us
- For the provision to maintain those things You entrusted to us
- For an upcoming vacation with family that will be enjoyable and relaxing
- For the sale on shoes for $7 a pair and two great pairs *grin*
- For honoring my attempts at keeping one day set apart for You
- For. . .*sigh*. . .our feathery alarm clock, Sunshine
- For tile and paint and other blessings we can use to beautify our home
- For this therapeutic blog!
