Wow!! I didn't mean to go so long without writing an entry. We have been very busy with Christmas plans - caroling, 5 different Christmas celebrations with different family members and friends, baking, etc. - and with relatives visiting, and with babysitting all last week. Whew! I should be worn out! But I'm getting my eating back in order, so I'm starting to feel better. All the junk food at the holidays really has me feeling puny, but now I'm feeling so much better. And I'm also getting DD's meals back on track as well.
I have just started a program called "The Lord's Table" through www.settingcaptivesfree.com. I am on Day 2. This program is about helping change your attitude about food, and learning to come to Jesus to fill you up, instead of turning to things like food, which only leave you more empty. What I really need is a heart change, plus I really want to draw closer to the Lord, and I believe this Bible study is going to help me do that.
I am also trying to get my priorities straightened out a little more, and become a more dedicated wife and mother. I want to be all that God wants me to be, and to fulfill my role the best that I can. God has been faithful to teach me what my role really is and what my priorities should be.
Well, that's all for now. I'm sure I'll have a lot more to say in the coming days.
