Sounds like the comment of someone educated in a public school by one of those Chomsky-lovin' teachers. Let's not teach actual history; it might mess with their little minds...get 'em thinking for themselves! LOL!
I attended schools in a conservative part of the country, and even I didn't get sufficient history instruction. Which is all it takes to cure this kind of ignorance.
