Here Comes the Bride

HSLDA attorney, Scott Somerville shares his son's wedding photos from this weekend. Congratulations Scott and family. The new bride and groom looked stunning.

By contrast, get a load of this 350 pound wedding dress worn by a bride in the UK.

Carly, who spent NINE AND A HALF HOURS getting into it, was exhausted when she got to the altar in Gloucester.

It took TWENTY people an hour and a half to heave 16-year-old Carly through and up the aisle followed by her 60FT LONG train.

Unbelievable. I don't think I'd want to be "heaved" down the aisle. I much prefer bride Leslie Somerville's choice by far. But to each his own I guess.

the sad thing is that at 16 she's more interested in having more attention than some "supermodel" than having a good start to her new life. The pics gave me the impression that here was a girl who wanted to be some fairy tale princess and be "someone" even if just for a day. Here's hoping and praying that her new husband can actually MAKE her feel special for the rest of thier days.....

Good grief! Anyone who could afford that dress should have rented a church with a wider aisle. Scott's son's wedding was much more elegant.

I can imagine that years from now (if they are together then) this bride won't remember the ear to ear grin on her hubby's face when he first saw her in the aisle, but the frustration at the "stupid" wedding dress. Simple is elegant. How sad for this misguided child.
Blessings,
Christine
