Never ever again tell the children they can have a garage sale the same weekend you decide to paint the famiy room. Just what was I thinking???? Needless to say, posting may be light as all the kings horses and all the kings men attempt to put Spunky's house back together again.

Oh, dear....I totally understand! My oldest wants to have a hard sale before we move...and the thought kind of freaks me out right now with everything else I have to do. :o)

I did something similar. Never do a landscaping project and let your kids do a garage sale-he,he....I can relate.

Hmmm...I was thinking of letting mine run a lemonade stand while *I* ran the yard sale. That might get kinda sticky, too, no pun intended. Maybe we'll make our own concentrate from fresh lemons the night before so they can refill their pitcher themselves, just in case they run out.
I sure hope everything came out well, Spunky...paint job and garage sale! :)

The paint job stalled out due to an unexpected repair. So my family room is torn up waiting my hubby to fix that. The sale was a lot of fun. The children were very motivated and we sold quite a bit of stuff.
