Ten things about Spunky

Since it's Friday, I thought I'd do my own neme and share some things about myself. (With apoligies to all who have tagged me and I have yet to do them.)
1. I'm almost 5'2" (if I stand very straight) and three of my six children are taller than me.
2. I usually don't eat after 7PM and I've never been on a diet.
3. I have been on TV three times. When I was 5, I was Belinda on Bozo; I was on a game show called Bowling for Dollars with my dad when I was 8; and as a mom, I debated a lesbian on TV. I had the most fun at my last appearance.
4. I can't jump.
5. I can't run.
6. I can't swim.
7. I married a man who can do all three very well.
8.I'm 42 and to the dismay of many friends have little grey and have never dyed my hair.
9. My daughter and I went to Hawaii for 10 days and spent less than $200 total.
10. I hate writing but love to blog. (And I'm a terrible proof reader so please excuse the grammar.)

WOOHOO Spunky! Tell us all how to get to Hawaii for 2 on less than $200! Come on what's the secret? I'll take my hubby for our anniversary! Then I won't have to read Debi Pearl's book at all! LOL

Ah that is the secret. I didn't take my husband. LOL. Actually, my best friends husband is an airline pilot. He flew my daughter and I out there for free and we stayed with them. Unfortunately, Northwest cancelled the friends plan due to financial problems and now my friends are also back here in Michigan.
What was memorable was when we went to church. My daughter said, "Mom, wouldn't it be cool if Jesus came back right now. I'd be trading this paradise for an eternal one."

Ok, my bestest buddy lives in HI now, courtesy of the Army and I NEED to go visit her. Her husband is going to deploy and I NEED to get over there. Do tell how you swung HI for 2 on $200. I'm waiting on pins & needles....

The tickets were free courtesy of Northwest Airlines. (Company perk.) The $200 was spending cash and some food. Sorry, the company cancelled the program and I can't help you out anymore than that. Hope you get there though. It is beautiful.

Hi! I just opened my TOS & saw a familiar face so I stopped by your blog. We're still in Hawaii. If you can get some more free tickets, we have a great house & pool just waiting for friends to come visit! I hope you are all well! Lisa Neal

Oh Lisa, you're going to make cry. I can't believe you found me out. Don't tell others the truth about me you will ruin my "reputation". I'd love to come visit. But alas the money isn't there this time around. Thanks for stoppiing by. Keep in touch.
