We don't know whether she has been abducted or is willingly a part of this," Chief Seace said, but he added that until they can determine otherwise, police are 0perating on the assumption that Kara had been kidnapped.According to Stephanie Mannon, a 16-year-old friend who had worked with the Mr. Ludwig,
He and Kara had been seeing each other secretly. "Their parents didn't approve of them being together" because of the age difference, she said. "It wasn't because he was a shady character, because he wasn't."So very sad.

Tragic. That's all, just tragic. So, so, so sad for those kids who lost their parents. Sounds premeditated. What was he doing there with a gun? Oh, so heartbreaking.

Fox 8 didn't mention that part. I guess I'm glad. It's very difficult when situations like this are publicized as "homeschooler" did this, etc. How very, very, very sad. I wonder if this girl knew this guy was violent? Thanks for the links.

Grace,
Someone sent me the links to both of their blogs. Neither seemed to be particularly violent in any way. Their vocabulary was not what I would consdier totally acceptable for public dialogue but mild by some blog standards. But nothing vulgar or derogratory. His seemed a ltittle more edgy but still nothing violent. They both talked about Christian concerts that they had been too and she also talked about a bible study and youth group that she attended. It is all so sad and confusing to many. Keep your children's heart is the message I"m getting from this.
