Thanks for the Chat

I'd like to say I had fun in the chat last night on Faith, Family, and Finances but that wouldn't be quite right. I had fun watching the chat last night as Steve shared his advice to the ladies who joined us. We had to share a keyboard which meant that he typed and I read, laughed and learned with the rest of the ladies. Which is just as well since I don't do any thing financial around my house except spend the money!
3foldchord did a great job moderating and keeping the discussion on track even when things got a little off topic. We'll have to do it again soon! If you would like to read the transcript you can read it here. It's in reverse order so you'll have to scroll down and read up the page. And Parkway mom if you're reading this, I want that Chicken Salad recipe!
And don't forget Steve has also recorded an interview with Homeschool Talk Radio on teaching finances to your children that you can listen to here.

Thanks Spunky! I enjoyed joining in at the end last night and am anxious to read what I missed during the first hour! You both are so gracious and have the gift of hospitality! We could feel it through the keyboard! I fell asleep with a smile on my face . . . it's nice to have friends like all of you across the nation.
I extend my apologies if you were hoping to make chicken salad for lunch, as we are off to our backdoor neighbors funeral. The elderly gentleman always worked in his garden and we will miss the chats over the fence. Dh was asked to be a pall bearer and I now have been appointed "Keeper of the Garden." More about that later.
So, I'll have to post my Chicken Salad later. . . stay tuned.

OK. I've posted 2 versions of my yummy chicken salad at my blog. One is a bit involved and the other is quick and easy. Enjoy!
