Apr. 29, 2008 - Thankful for carseats

I thought this video was very convincing and wow, scary! Granted our grandmothers didn't have car seats (most of us anyway) but they also stayed home more often. I just seen this posted on MOMYS and thought it was worth watching:

May. 2, 2008 - G'nites

I am so sorry! This is our "nickname" for goodnites. I just shortened it because I got tired of typing night time washable protection or washable bedwetting protection. LOL Anyway, here is the link to where I bought these wonders.

They work up to 60# here. Granted my 65 pounder (age 8) is a little chunky. These are the biggest that I could find them. So, I just buy disposables for the oldest. I figured buying for one isn't as bad as buying for three, or four if count the one in diapers.
I got the ones for $15.95. Actually I bought the combo pack with the two washable "g'nites" and mattress pads, then four more "g'nites".
I have to say that the smell is cut down better in the disposables, but for us it's worth it moneywise and that's why I put them in the wash first thing in the morning.
Initially it's a lot of money to put out but we are now getting our money back. These things are VERY durable. Also, I only wash the protective pads if there's been a leak(happens more with my 6yob than the 4yog).
As for disposables, I just try to get them on sale for the oldest. I don't know if you have a Food Lion but they sell their's for around $7 a pack.

Edited to say: That this company has lightning fast service. I was VERY impressed with their work and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.
