From Heart Cath Lab to Open Heart Surgery to Pacemaker
Please check out my other articles too

On Monday, my dad underwent open heart surgery to repair two valves that were causing congestive heart failure pneumonia. I sent out prayer requests to everyone I know - well, practically.....The surgery went well & the recovery has gone fairly smoothly with the exception of a lung collapse he experienced when they took out his respirator after surgery.
Then, came last night. His afibrilation (that's an irregular heart beat that I probably misspelled) went wild.
So, today at around 3:00 p.m. CST my dad will get a pacemaker put into his chest.
This dad may need heart repair from a physical standpoint. But, there's nothing wrong with his heart on a spiritual level.
My dad, at the age of 78, is about to undergo a procedure to put a pacemaker into his chest. All this after having open-heart surgery on Monday. And, on Monday, the thought of handing my godly father over to a surgeon for a few hours who was to stop his heart for an hour so he could repair it was mind-numbing. The thought of the possibility of saying goodbye to my father is even more earth-shattering.
My dad, like so many others, worked a large part of my childhood. I would see him when he arrived home at the end of the day beat tired kicking our toys out of his path. As I grew, I saw my dad's heart. Yes, the heart that will be repaired soon in surgery.
His true heart needs no repair. This man has been an elder at his church for years. He always stood up for me when necessary. He took me out to eat once to tell me how much more I was worth than how the boy I was dating was treating me. I went home that day and broke up with that boy. I am now happily married to a godly man. Thanks to my dad. I can't imagine my life with the other. My dad says very little, so when he speaks I know to listen.
His heart needs physical repair. And, he will soon undergo the insertion of a pacemaker and then continue to recover from open heart surgery. But, his heart is spiritually the biggest heart that could ever hold me, his daughter

Your dad sounds so neat! I'll say a special prayer that he will recover from all of his heart repairs.
God bless,
