Well, off to do work... |
Trying to get going. So much to do.....Waiting to hear on a possible consulting job for a local doctor's office. Would be great to meet new people and help them learn! Double whammy. Besides that, I have to clean to get ready for a Mary Kay party. I never have "parties" and it should be interesting to see how many people show up. Last time I had a Tupperware party, I had 3 people...me, a friend, and the consultant. Praying it goes better this time.|
I am so happy to say we finished school completely, now. I have even gone to Board of Education and finished my portfolio requirements. Woohoo! Now it's time to pick classes for next year. Lexi is excited, though, so that makes it much more fun. All this rain has been so nice. We needed it so the grass will grow and the horses have some good feed. The dogs, though, have enjoyed rolling in the dirt and mud! Then they want to come in the house and lay on the furniture. Got a phone call that my niece who is 3 years old is doing math flashcards for 2nd grade level with her big sister. YEAH! It's so wonderful when they learn. Her big sister, who is turning 6 in August, is a good teacher just like her mom. Guess I'll think about bed. It's been a long day. Remember to pray for our troops and our country! T |

I have waited all week for the two-hour Grey's Anatomy....then, this! Mostly about Addison's new job to be. Very little about the realy people of the show...except for Meredith's step mom. Oh know! Well, in case some of you didn't see it, I'll not say anymore. Just know that staying up til 11 wasn't worth it for me. I went riding with my daughter for an hour today. Went all over this trail she's made. She was telling me what to do! It's pretty bad when your 13-year-old is better at something than you. And, believe me, she is! We had fun, though. My horse was really good...not too uppity for a change. Thank the Lord! Time to wind down. Read my Bible and get redirected. Had trouble with work today, and the computer has been a pain. Need to refocus on good things. Praise God for his mercy and goodness. |

How wonderful to awaken to sunshine, cool air, and my five dogs on the bed! Argh!!! I look forward to getting out and mowing the lawn...it's when I am reminded of how wonderful the Lord can be. All the blessings he has provided for me and my family; the beauty of the land and trees; the smell of the freshly mowed grass. If it weren't for the allergies... I need to get back to school, too. Only a couple weeks of work left, though. My daughter is thrilled to be so close to "summer" vacation. Two hours worth of Grey's Anatomy tonight....can hardly wait!!! |
