The Journey

Peace

Well, I haven't been so good at this so far. But, I refuse to give up. We just got back from a week long trip to the beach, and boy did we need it.. It was so wonderful. I can't begin to describe it. It was probably the best vacation we've been on in years. The Lord has really been dealing with me this past month and its been quite a revelation...I really had time at the beach to think some of the things over and make some very important decisions for me and my family.  Its so amazing how peaceful things were there. It was so hard to leave. It was like I escaped all that had been going on around us and I didn't want to come back to it.  Its really a long story, but I will say this, there is a point when you can let family/friends be to close to you. Has anyone ever had that experience???

The vacation we took this year to the Columbia River was like that -- the Lord dealt with me on some things, too! Funny how, when all the busyness and "stuff" of life is taken away for a while, we are able to hear Him better.

Glad you got to go away with the fam and relax! It's a great way to begin the school year. :-)

But don't think plain - instead think, uncomplicated You're a low maintenance kind of girl... who can hang with the guys Down to earth, easy going, and fun! Yup, that's you: the friend everyone invites. And your dependable too. Both for a laugh and a sympathetic ear.
