Trying to get organized between homeschooling, college for myself, AWANA (did I mention I was the Cubbies director?) and all my other stuff that I have to do.  I'm already planning for Christmas because I have to, otherwise nothing will get done.  I've started my shopping list and hope to print off my labels for cards this next week.  Now, that means I have to make the cards soon! 

I have planned to be away the whole day on Saturday scrapbooking.  I've decided that when Kevin is home, that's just what I'm going to do.  I'll never get it done otherwise.  I have several friends that plan to be with me and I think we'll have a great time!

Kevin of course, was surprised that I was going for twelve hours, maybe longer, if I can.  Since he's leaving again in a few weeks for two months, I figured that I needed to do it while I could!!

Trey and I are finishing up 'Mr. Popper's Penguins' and we are really enjoying the book.  I'm not sure what we'll pick next to read aloud.  The girls are usually playing when I read aloud, but sometimes they sit down to listen to.  Usually, they just play quietly so that they can hear what's being read.

My kids have really gotten into watching the Brady Bunch.  We've watched seasons 1 &2.  Good family values and all, I can't complain.  We've also started "Little House on the Prairie' Season one and have watched three episodes.  Trey has lots of questions especially since watching the Disney  made for tv movie.  I plan on discussing the difference between the books and the tv shows.  Although, he already understands that books are better.  We read "Charlie and the Choocolate Factory' and watched the old movie.  Neither of us liked it because it did not follow the book at all!!  We were very disappointed.  The new version does follow it better, but adds in some things that really aren't necessary.

Well, gotta run and get my day started.  Courtnee's been waking up every night about four times and I'm pooped!!
