Well, today we went to a nearby mall (in Japan that's about a thirty minute drive, longer with traffic) and went rock climbing.  It was a blast, he had a great time.  I felt bad because the girls were too small to go.  Hallie has about two inches before she can do it. 

Anyway he put on special shoes and a harness and started climbing the wall.  It was about 70 feet to the top.  He decided for the first climb he would start on the easy wall.  He did really well going all the way up to the top and came down pretty well.  All the boys hard difficulties coming down but he seemed to master it pretty well.  I am so proud of him.  I would have fallen flat on my butt or panicked at such a height, but not him!
