Christmas is one of my most favorite times of the year.  I love the peace of the season.  I love the winter weather.  Its been very hard to be in the Christmas spirit the last two years living in CA, too bloody hot there for me. 

I always try to get my shopping and mailing done around Thanksgiving to be able to enjoy the holiday season with the kids.  We spend a lot of time talking about the birth of our Saviour.  We make cookies together, decorations and crafts.  This last two weeks has been very peaceful and not harried at all.  I am so grateful for that.
