Right now, the bible study I'm working on is Terry Maxwell's 'Homeschooling with a meek and mild Spirit.' Amen. Definitely need help in that area. I just finished the first chapter. Its great so far.
On my nightstand to read is 'Jane Eyre' and 'Twenty Thousand Leagues under the Sea'. As you can see, I'm trying to work my way through classics.
On my to-do list from the other day. Happy to report that I completed ordering my curriculum and I should have (if things go well today) history planned out for the first six months. I use BJUP, but I like to add in projects and books to read. I can't start planning for science until I get the SOS curriculum in. I plan on working one afternoon a week on science projects and reviewing lessons. After today, I hope to start working on our Australia geography unit. That should be alot of fun and I'm really looking forward to that. I also worked on tentatively outlining the first six weeks of lessons-is it really only four weeks away? Oh my! |

I hope you enjoy the other 2 books. I have not read 20,000 Leagues yet, but hope to eventually. I have read Jane Eyre, but it has been a long while. I could do with a rereading of it. I really enjoyed that book.
