Hello all.  The typhoon is still a category four at this time.  It has hit Okinawa head on and has done significant damage there.  It will be moving into our area early Sunday morning.  They assume it will weaken considerably before then, however, since it is a slow moving storm, still has the potential to do alot of damage.

We are as prepared as we can be.  Stocked up on water, juice and canned goods in case we lose power.  Batteries are loaded in the flashlights and lanterns.  The propane tank for the grill has been filled.  All we can do is sit and wait.

The kids are a little nervous with all the preparations that needed to be made, but they had to be done.  Better to be safe, than sorry.
