Need to update

Well, the typhoon fizzled to nothing, and I mean nothing.  Most of the day it didn't even rain!!  The kids were disappointed that they couldn't use the flashlights and lanterns, so they played tents all day and used them-just turned the lights off.

I'm almost done with lesson planning.  Yeah!!  We start school next week!

I cleaned out Trey's room, what a mess that was.  I could tell we haven't worked on it in a while.  I also scrapbooked about ten pages the day the typhoon didn't hit.  And I'm currently staring at Trey's quilt that needs to be finished being pieced together.  I hope to get to that today.

Trey and Courtnee have each had a birthday and Hallie lost a tooth, so hopefully, I can get those pictures posted soon!!

Blessings to all!

I'm glad the storm wasn't bad.
The girls built forts and played with flashlight the last time we had a hurricane pass through here.. The storm wasn't anything more than a lot of rain.
I have been trying to catch up on some scrapbooking pages too. I have gotten a few done this month, but it is hard to keep up.

Glad to hear you are safe. I can totally appreciate your children's thoughts, LOL! Many a time during spring storm season that we have gotten out the flashlights and candles and been disappointed (and thus went on to make tents and play in the house!).

How funny that you all were upset because a typhoon did not hit! --My children would have been disappointed too!
I am impressed you did so many scrapbook pages. I have a couple of scrapbooks but each of them only has a couple of pages done in them. --That's another one of my goals for this year.
Take care.
