I've always wondered how my children have the ability to sense a clean, crisp bathroom. I love a clean bathroom, not that I love cleaning it mind you, but its so nice to walk into a nice clean bathroom.
Then, the sonic radar goes off and all three of my youngsters rush to the bathroom to brush their teeth. Any other day mind you, I only have to wrestle them in and try to get their teeth brushed. On clean bathroom days, they run in and fight to be first in line. Why, to show off their works of art!!
Somehow, toothpaste lands all over the sink, counter, mirror and wall. I still haven't figured out the mirror-unless they're trying to trace their own face with toothpaste. The wall, well, I guess it gets all over your hands when you are using the toothpaste like finger paint, grinding it into the countertop.
I know one day, I will remember this fondly, thinking sadly that those days are gone, at least I think so. I don't mind crayons on the wall and furniture. Its kinda annoying but most of the time its cute. Toothpaste art however, is just yucky!! |
