is here right now. The eye is supposed to hit tonight at 3am. Its about 10:30pm right now and its pretty windy and we've been getting solid rain for about five hours now. Looks like most of the rain and wind will be after the eye hits, depending on if the storm has downgraded or not. The kids and I are ready though.
I went in for my three hour glucose test this morning since my sugar was high. The first two results were normal, but I have to wait on the other two results seeing as how medical closed at noon with the storm coming. Hopefully, they were fine too. Apparently, its a problem if two out of four of your results are high. This is the first time that my one hour results were high, of course, its the first time that I didn't have to fast for that test. With the other kids, I fasted before the glucose test. I don't believe that you can get accurate results if you don't fast first. Oh well. Pray that the other results come back normal please.
Current bible study: Beth Moore's Daniel-wow, just started it today. It is certainly powerful and wonderful.
Current read aloud: The Littles and the Big Storm-seemed appropriate with the typhoon here
Mom's current reading: Okay, I got carried away. I need to finish Great Expectations, which I started six months ago and I'm also working on Thirteen Moons by Charles Frasier (he wrote Cold Mountain). Wow, love his books, they're awesome.
Please share some good reads with me, so I can add them to my list! |

And thanks for the Charles Frasier book...I didn't know he had another. I liked CM, but I didn't care for the movie. Too graphic.
Try to find a copy of I Capture the Castle by Dodie Smith. Read that recently and loved it!
