With the time difference (its am here for pm on east coast of U.S.-13 hours difference), it was hard for me to get in touch with Samantha's mom. 

I just got off the phone with Sam herself, and she's doing very well, but bored out of her mind staying home all day long.  She may go back to school on Friday, or not-hasn't been decided yet.
