Almost ready....

Well, I finally finished typing up the goals for the kiddos for the upcoming school year.  Hallie and Trey both have work to finish from last year, not a big deal however.  We are starting the third week in August because at some point this year, we'll be returning to the states and a move always messes us up for a month.  No, no idea where we're going yet

As a group, we will be doing:

Bible

Science-Apologia's Swimming Creatures, God's Design Water and Weather, and God's Design Human Body

Mystery of History

Spanish-this is really just a fun little intro.  Not a big thing.

Trail Guide Through US Geography

Art-Meet the Masters Track B

.

Trey

Reading-we will continue to us his dyslexia workbook to improve his skills.  We're also starting English from the Roots Up.  He'll be doing literature study by reading quality books.

Grammer-BJUP

Spelling-All About Spelling

Math-He has forty lessons to finish from BJUP4 and then we'll move onto Singapore Math.  My friend gave me her workbooks so we're going to try it.

.

Hallie

Reading-Finishing up Sing, Spell, REad, and Write

Grammer-BJUP

Spelling-BJUP

Math-she has about half the year to finish for first grade then we'll move onto BJUP2

.

Courtnee

Reading-Starting Sing, Spell, Read, and Write

Math-BJUPK

.

Lapbooks

We're going to explore the Olympics, Elections, and then habitats through lapbooking.  It should be alot of fun for the kids!

I've been doing some preliminary planning and it looks like it will be shaping up to be a good year.  I'm excited and so are the kids.   Enjoying my last few weeks of total freedom however!
