and lovin' it!!
2700 square feet is big! We have a ton of room and I am really enjoying it! white walls and all-I would prefer some color, but the white does make it feel very spacious.
We just got done doing respite care for two little ones. They were cute as cute can be! The little ones definately are heartbreakers. It's also a much different feel. it made me sad because I realized how bad of shape the girls are really in!
The girls are adjusting to the new home, They have opened up even more with the new family and it's heartbreaking what they have been through. We plan to take them to lunch some time next week and touch base with them.
We are still on the waiting list for our next full time placement. It feels like forever, but the break has been nice. I know the Lord's timing is perfect so I am totally at peace!
I hope to get back on track with school next week. I probably won't though! I need to whip up some lesson plans and get the rest of the school room set up. I found a table at a garage sale for $40! It's heavy duty and has 2 leafs if I wanted to make it bigger. Solid wood and it's about 2 inches thick. We'll have to paint and stuff in the dining room since it has vinyl on the floor, but it's only about 3 feet away LOL so it won't be that big of a deal.
I have decided against putting Luke in the virtual academy. After reviewing the curriculum and talking it over with my friend who is a vetren homeshcooler I decided that it wasn't as good as what we are using. She showed me another math program, and I realized that Luke needed a whole nother year before he starts pre-algebra. Whew! I still might put him into some online classes for computer and spanish through a different program, but the Lord seems to be closing those doors at the moment.
Let's see- Levi's being a butt, Nicky is making me crazy, and Luke's voice is starting to change, he's gone girl crazy, and he's acting like a pre-teen boy! And I want another because?! Oh yah-hmmm still thinking on that one LOL
