Jan. 10, 2008 - Bike Crash, Poop on the Wall, and Washing Machine Issues
Wow! Exciting things going on around here!
First of all, my 5yo had a big bike crash yesterday. I was encouragning him to ride his bike with training wheels (called The Rocket) down what I felt was a small hill in front of our house. He got going and then wanted to stop. I told him "You can do it!!" Well, off he went and he just couldn't brake. He flew down the hill and hit an old stump covered with ivy and then flew off. He hit forehead first on the neighbor's driveway. It was so scary. I ran home uphill carrying this 50 pound child. We wound up at our doctor's clinic and he is fine. His forehead has a huge red abrasion. His nose is black and blue and really scabbed up. He did have his helmet on too. I thank God he didn't hit his mouth and hurt his head. I told him I believe the Lord sent an angel to help him and he agreed. :)
Today, I walked into my 2yo son's room to find him awake. He was supposed to be napping. I had put him down about an hour and a half beforehand. He has painted the wall next to his bed with POOP! Ohhh!!! He has done this one other time. This time, after I cleaned him up, I gave him a Clorox wipe! Of course, he started smiling and singing "clean up clean up!" Little Stinker! And, yes, I mean stinker!!
Then... the washing machine breaks. Of course there is a full load in it!! The good news is I may end up with a big ol' front loader! Hopefully, the soaking clothes will hold out until tomorrow or Saturday!
It's always fun at our house!! LOL

Poop...*shudder* 1 out of 5 pulled that, and I hope we never, ever, ever see that again.
I'm so EXCITED that your washer broke! Really, your life will never be the same after the front loader. We have an LG and *sigh* it's almost our first anniversary. I LOOOVE my washer.
