What did you think of the last book in the Series of Unfortunate Events?? Were you disappointed with the way it resolved?
I think that I've seen the movie for Jacob Have I Loved, but never read the book. It would be interesting to read your review on it.
My November list:
Under the Lilacs by Louisa May Alcott (this was a really cute little story :-)
The Demographic Crash by Michel Schooyans (lots of interesting statistics)
The Merchant of Venice by William Shakespeare
The Scarlet Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne
Stepping Heavenward by Elizabeth Prentiss (I REALLY liked this one)
The Mercy of God Encyclical Letter of Pope John Paul II
I started 3 other books, but have yet to finish them...

Yes, I did get my 50,000 words for November! It really was a good experience--typing "the end" is quite a reward ;-). I imagine I'll try next year, if I've got an idea in the works. I'm still trying to get back into the blogging swing, though--I've fallen a bit behind lately.
Thanks for the comment!

Wow, I actually haven't read any of those! Ooh, how was the Agatha Christie one? I've read several of her books, and I've been wanting to read more. I'm pretty sure I haven't read that one.
Yes, you should really check out some Cary Grant movies! Obviously I'm a bit too much of a fan, but I assure you it isn't just me, lots of people love them! :)

Hey, looks like you've been quite busy with reading! Very impressive, it's motivating me to work on that too... goodness. Ohhh... I read this GREAT book called "Wild at Heart", it's by John Eldredge. It's written for guys, but the counselor at my worldview camp recommended it to me. It's a nonfiction book about masculinity, the male mind, and the search for Godly masculinity. It made me go "OHH, that makes so much more sense" about many things in my everyday life with brothers. Very good book. Just thought I'd pass it on. :) Apparently there's one on femininity too, called "Captivating" or something, but I dont' have time to read it, i'm drowning in Trig homework. *gag*
