Oh, God's Smuggler is a great book! Reminds me I need to go back and re-read it sometime...

I am surpised! Bluejane read Chasing Vermeer and really liked it. At least, I think she did. I haven't read it.
I really liked God's Smuggler, too.

P.S. That list is impressive. I have a question and I hope you won't take offence. How do you get any schoolwork when your reading so much? I want to know your secret! I'd love to devour that many books in a month!

Thanks for commenting! Ah, don't worry about length--I've been attracting those lately! :-D
I like your point about the holocaust--I've thought about that, too. Sounds a lot like the Ecclesiastes passage: there's a time for war, and and a time for peace. It's a very interesting subject altogether :-).

Ah yes, God's Smuggler was great. I read it quite a while ago.
Would you believe I only read 2 books in January? I hardly had any reading time. =(
The Chosen by Chaim Potok (quite good; have you read it?)
Conceived Without Sin by Bud MacFarlane
I hope I'll be able to get some more this month.
