Read in the month of April

Posted in Read this month

It’s a tad bit late for this, but I will post it nonetheless.

Time Cat by Lloyd Alexander
Art Auction Mystery by Anna Nilsen
Cloud of Witness by Dorothy L. Sayers
Murder Must Advertise by Dorothy L. Sayers
Moon-Spinners by Mary Stewart
The Inimitable Jeeves by P.G. Wodehouse
Till We Have Faces by C.S. Lewis
Do Hard Things by Alex and Brett Harris
The Unusual Suspects by Michael Buckley
High Courage by Rosemary Weir
The Willoughbys by Lois Lowry
Detectives in Togas by Henry Winterfield

Favorite book from this month: Er, probably Do Hard Things. That was a good book. I would definitely recommend it.

Best new discovery: P.G. Wodehouse. How can you resist a main character that says stuff like “Pip-pip” and “Toodle-oo”? (Leastwise I think that’s what he said…I don’t have the book with me now.)

Wow I wish I got that much read in one month!!! How did you like The Willoughbys? I have not read that one, but Lois L is my all time favorite author I LOVE her books.

I've read The Hidding Place, it's insperational that someone could have so much faith and love for the Lord, and just all the things she went through.
Thankyou for your comment!

My friends introduced me to P.G. Wodehouse. I like them too. Although the only books I have read are about Bertie and Jeeves.

Have a very bright, very cheerful day!

I'm reading Thank You, Jeeves by Wodehouse right now... along with like 4 other books, lol. :) I'm fast becoming a big Wodehouse fan! He's a scream.

(P.S. If you're looking for a good, short read... Love and Friendship by Jane Austen is a must. I just read it, it's less that 100 pages long, I'm pretty sure. It's very understandable, virtually just a collection of short stories.)

Sorry I haven't commented in so long. I too just finished Do Hard Things. It is an excellent book. My family is also reading Mystery of the Roman Ransom, which is the sequel to Detectives in Togas. It is very good! Well, hope to hear from you soon.
