Swimmer Bug
• Aug. 7, 2009 - NY!!
Hi everyone!! I'm in New York right now!! We're at my Grandparents house. We go up ever Summer, but this is our last Summer up here because they sold it and are moving about half a mile from our house!! I'm happy and sad. I'm happy because that means I get to see them a lot more, but I'm sad because I'm really going to miss coming up here every Summer and swimming in the lake. Yesterday was the day we left. I woke up at about 6:45 and got dressed, and made sure I had everything I needed. Then we left at about 8:00. It's usually a 15 hour trip so we bring these mini tv's that play DVD's so we watched about 5 movies!! (Not all at once, we took breaks between each movie.) But this time it only took 13 hours to here!!! We got here at about 9:15.
Today I woke up at about 8:00 and had breakfast then I read some and read some more, then finished that book. Bye then it was probably 10:00ish. Bye then my Dad was awake (my Mom went with my
Grandpa to get the moving van that my Dad is driving home on Sunday) and I had a second breakfast. Then I helped my Grandmother fix lunch, turkey, salt potatoes, fresh beans, cranberry, and stuffing. The turkey took 3 hours that's why we had to start so early. (We always have a big Lunch and a small supper here) Then after lunch we went swimming. It was cold!! We only stayed in for about 30 mins. That's what I did today!! All the men of the house (my Dad, my Grandfather, my Uncle and my big bro) have been loading up the furniture, box's and anything else that's coming down to TN.
I probably won's blog anymore this week. We will be gone until Thursday the 13. I'm typing on my Dad's laptop and he's taking it with him on Sunday so I won't be able to write!!! Bye!!
