Hi--I just wanted to let you all know that God answers prayers when we ask HIM! I am sure you all know that already but I wanted to share my story. In my last post I mentioned reviewing the high school e-book. With us about to move we had considered putting the kids back into public school for various reasons. Well I really didn't want to do it for my own reasons so I just prayed really hard about it. I researched schools and found out some info and as time went on, it has become clearer and clearer to us (my hubby was originally the public school advocate) that home is where they BOTH need to be next year. He has almost completely changed his opinion 180 degrees about school. I am so thankful that God is answering my prayers and making it clear where He wants our kids!! So now, when we move we will have to figure out where we are going to hold our school--dining room, their rooms, whatever. We won't have an extra bedroom just for school like here. I would love to hear how and where you do your school work. Please share any tips you have that help out your family. |
Apr. 10, 2006 - Where we school.
Now we are in our new home and this is a first, but we have a homeschool room. It does make it easier and I do love it. The thing is they are learning in that room just like they learned at the table or the fold out table at my moms. This is homeschool it happens where it happens. Alot of our school is done all over the place also. In the car, in the store, at the park, in the backyard. So if you don't have a set room, your fine. Do it where you can.
Blessings,
Andrea
