Hello new friends! I just wanted to say thanks to those of you who have been so supportive and kind while I have not been feeling well. Everyone is so sweet, even though they do not know me.
Today we did not get any school done because I was still not feeling well. We babysat a friend's 2 girls today and that made for an interesting day. It is always interesting when you watch kids together. My daughter loves to play with her friends, but sometimes they argue with each other as if they were sisters!!
Anyway, my 13 year old son is so awesome and such a wonderful help to me. He helped me watch the girls today. After the girls got picked up, he watched his sister while I laid down and took a loooong 2 hour nap!!! After I woke up, he made us a dinner of scrambled eggs and biscuits! Then he took out the trash and recycling for tomorrows pick-up. He loves Jesus and has been dedicated lately to doing a nightly devotional--for almost 3 weeks now. He is growing a lot spiritually. I really am truly blessed for having such wonderful, loving, and caring children.
My 8 year old is so sweet and caring and tender hearted. She has Jesus in her heart with such a child-like innocence and trust. She listens to our Christian radio station every night before bed and all day during the day. Her absolute favorite song is "I Can Only Imagine" by Mercy Me.
I am so blessed with such a wonderful husband and wonderful children. That is why I am a stay at home mom and loving it!!!

I love your blog name . . . wish I had thought of that . . . because if I'm not doing one, I'm doing the other! It's interesting, because I have been looking around at Scrapping Blogs and wondering if I should get involved over there too! I'm just beginning think about going digital, using a scanner, and all that would be necessary to show off my pages. Anyway, there are some great scrapping sites out there if you want inspiration. Tell me more about your scrap biz!
Homeschoolblogger has been a wonderful encouragement, and I hope you find it the same! It's neat to feel connected with others doing the same thing. Thank you for sharing about your precious children and their walk with the Lord . . . I have found that there is "No greater joy, than to see my children walk in Truth."
Blessings,
ParkwayMom
