I can't believe I haven't put anything on here in almost a year. We've been so busy and stressed. I am having trouble with the diabetes getting it under controlled and the stress and depression isn't helping it. I get upset and up it goes.

I've also had trouble with my left shoulder and had x-rays and an MRI done. One says bursitis and the other said tendonitis and deteriaration (spelling). So I went to the ortho doc today and learned several things I did not know before. Diabetics with tendonitis are more prone to the joint 'locking up' on them. So I had never heard this before.  So anyway they gave me a shot you know the steroid one and me being diabetic well you guessed it the sugar level went up to 455. It scared me but I took another dose of insulin and as of now it's going down. I just hope it keeps going down.

But I want to apologize for not keeping the blog up to date but I hope to be more active with it.

We went to the Louisville Zoo today in KY. It's not very far from where we live. Jesse had a great time. I did too and so did Bob. We got to see some new animals this time that we hadn't before. We saw the white alligator. It was a great time though.

We didn't say anything to Jesse about going so we could surprise her. She figured it out as soon as we got to Louisville but it was fun trying to keep it from her.

We're getting ready to start back to school. It's suppose to start next week but I think it may be at the end of the month now. I'm just so drained right now. I'm on some new medication and my body is trying to get use to them. Plus I've had a bad bout with some depression lately and a new med for that too that cost 126.00. So I don't know it just seems more and more are piling up  on my shoulders and I can't shake it off. The bills, the dh and dd and the dog are driving me crazy sometimes. They get on my nerves so bad ...

Enough about all that though. I hope you all are doing good.

We had a very pretty day here. It was real nice to go outside and not burn up. It's been so hot here for KY this summer.

My mom and step dad came up today. It was nice having a visit from them.

Hi there. Sorry I haven't been around. It's been busy around here. Nothing new really. I got into digital scrapbooking and love it. I still do my paper scrapping too but this is easy and creative. I love the pages and kits the different designers have out there. The possibilities are endless.

Hope all of you are fine. Marie I know you read here quite a bit and sorry I haven't wrote anything. I wish more would come.

Jesse is fine and Tanner is too. The new baby is doing real good. He has a little breathing problem right now and has to take breathing treatments. He's growing so fast.

We finished up school yesterday. She passed as we use to say. She'll be in third grade this year. Wow. It hardly seems like yesterday when we started homeschooling. We've been doing it for 4 years now I guess. She was 3 1/2 when we started and she's 7 now. My baby is growing up. I have a hard time with that sometimes. But then I snap back to reality and just tell myself that this is how it's suppose to be.

She did good with her testing. She aced reading and l.a. but math was a different story. So over summer I told her we had to work on that.

Not much going on here. Hubby was on vacation last week. We did got to Newport Aquarium in Newport, KY. Jesse liked it. We went with some friends that hadn't been before. The rest of the week we worked on the trailer. We did the faucets in one bath and the shower walls. We cleaned really good and tried to get carpet layed in the living room but that didn't go as planned. Hopefully it'll get done in a couple weeks.

The grandson is doing good. We saw him last week. They've been moving and haven't been able to come up. He's a cutie.

This was one of the bridges at the park. We found out that it was used during the Civil War. They took a horse and wagon on this old road! I told Jesse it was probably a scary ride. It's a big hill or mountain depending on where your from. It was really nice though.

Jesse on Sugar. She loved riding her. This was the first time she rode a horse.

He finally got here on April 27 at 11:54pm. He weighed 7pounds 15 ounces and was 20 1/2 inches long. He'll be tall like his dad. We were at the hospital to see him and he's so pretty. Why did they all look ugly (sorry) to me before? They all seem pretty now. He has blue eyes and we're not sure about his hair yet. Sometimes it looks light red and others it looks light brown. He has jaundice right now but other than that he's healthy.

My dnl called yesterday (step-daughter -n- law) and they are going to induce labor if she hasn't gone into labor on her own by next Thursday. Say a prayer for her that she will. She was due yesterday so it's not really bad or that she's even overdue by a lot. I guess we're just anxious.

There hasn't been a lot going on. We just came back to school after a few days of spring break. It was nice just to sit back and relax for a bit. We only took four days. We stayed at home, didn't do a thing.

We have a field trip this Friday. It's to a place I had never heard of and I've lived here off and on all my life.

 We went to get glasses today. I'm diabetic so I have to do it every year, hubby wears them and Jesse has been complaining with her head and eyes. She was also getting to where she didn't want a bright light on. So we got there at 3:15 and was there until 6:00. They were so busy with the buy one get one free deal going on. Jesse had to have glasses this time. She looks so cute in them. Mine cost 23.90 after the insurance but hubby's cost 173.00 all together even with the insurance.

I just got done putting some pics in. I could just do 4 and it said I didn't have any room for more. We had a great time with the other homeschoolers. This is the first group we've been in where we meet to do things. I love it! I get to actually talk to people who know what I go through and understand.

Jesse had a nasty bug for two days. Poor thing, I felt so sorry for her. She had the two 'P's' and she'd say help me mommy. I couldn't do a thing except to give her Pepto. I told Bob that makes me feel so bad when I can't do anything for her. She told me the next day that she was sorry she kept me up til five in the morning and I told her that was okay that it was my job cause that's what mommies do.

She wanted to do an Easter lapbook. I looked for one on the web but to no avail I didn't find one. So we ventured and did (are doing) our own. We strated with Christ and the Resurrection. Then on to the symbols and commercialization of the holiday. We haven't put a lot of mini books in it but it's turning out great. That's one good thing with them -- you can't mess them up. I did find a great web site for mini books and cards.

Tanner was playing with Jesse last night. So thankfully he's on the road to a full recovery. he's not limping as bad now.

We had a great time at the egg hunt. Jesse's looking forward to getting the pics back now. I got her a scrapbook and she wants to try it. So she wanted me to get double prints.

The bug has hit here. She was so sick Friday and Saturday. She's better now but her tummy still hurts. I feel a little under but nothing like she had so far and hopefully I won't get it.
