hope and healing in the journey of miscarriage
Almost 7 years have passed since we lost our unborn son, Matthew, at 16 weeks gestation. I'm not much of a journal-er but during the time after Matthew, much of my healing came through pen and paper.
Several weeks ago, a close friend challenged me to finally publish Matthew's Story. She was instrumental during my days of healing and God used the loss of Matthew to introduce Laurie as a new friend in my life. Though she has since moved away, we still are close and I am grateful for her encouragement this winter in getting Matthew's Story uploaded.
Laurie and I both have experienced more than one miscarriage. For each of us, each miscarriage was different. We were at different places physically, emotionally and spiritually in our lives. We don't profess to have all of the answers, only God does. We simply want to share our stories and we hope and pray that we will encourage someone along the way.
If you, or someone you love, is going through miscarriage, please share our story with them. We pray that they will find hope and healing in the journey, just as we have. You will find the story and be able to print it from the link below.

ideas??
I'm looking for ideas of ways to market the Bible studies on my blogsite. I don't want to charge for these because I would like anyone who wants them to be able to use them. However, that means that I have very limited funds for marketing.
My reason for wanting to market these is just to get the word out amongst churches, homeschool families, etc. that these studies exist Does anyone have any ideas for free or very, very inexpensive marketing? Please email me or leave me a comment. Thanks!!!!

Daily with Jesus...a six month personal and family Bible study
Personal quiet time has been one of the hardest things to maintain in my life. I could list a variety of reasons but the top reason would be that I am horrible at self-discipline. God has been working in my heart to not only return to a habit of consistent, daily quiet time but to teach my children this habit as well.
Not only do I struggle with consistent personal quiet time but our family struggles in maintaining a family Bible time (aka family worship). Again, the list of excuses is long but pitiful. My goal for our homeschool is that our children would grow up loving the LORD their God with all of their heart, all of their mind, all of their soul and all of their strength and loving their neighbors as themselves. Lofty goal, I'd say. However, I had to ask myself, "what am I doing to further this goal?" The ugly answer..."not much".
After a great family forum, my family has come up with a six month personal and family Bible study plan reading harmoniously through the Gospels. We are just starting this and if you are looking for a quiet time or family Bible study plan, we'd love for you to join us. This plan is free, printable and reproducible at
www.ontabletsofhumanhearts.blogspot.com
If you decide to join us on this study, let me know and we'll pray for you and your family during our prayer times.

HIStory Eggs...a redemption celebration for the family
If you are looking for a fun way for your family to celebrate Christ's resurrection this Easter season, check out HIStory Eggs at www.ontabletsofhumanhearts.blogspot.com.
HIStory Eggs are similar to Resurrection Eggs. However, they are based on the story of redemption through history. All history is HIS story. His plan of redemption is what links all of history together.
The plan and story for HIStory Eggs is free. You can view it and print it right from the blog site. As with any of the studies and ideas on the On Tablets of Human Hearts blogsite, this is free. (Feel free to distribute it or use it in your home, church or school provided you don't use it to make a profit.) Your only cost is the plastic eggs, egg carton and the tokens that are hidden in the eggs.
I hope your family enjoys it!

FREE...PRINTABLE...REPRODUCIBLE...
FREE...PRINTABLE...REPRODUCIBLE...
Those very well might be every home school parent's favorite words! God has given me children's Bible studies and children's Bible curriculum and in an effort to share them with the world, they have been posted on scribd.com and at www.ontabletsofhumanhearts.blogspot.com.
These children's Bible studies are 100% free. They belong to the LORD, not to me. Therefore, I can not charge for something that does not belong to me.
Please use them and tell others about them. Thank you!
