Mar. 22, 2006 - ~ * Oh My! *~
I am definitely not ready for THIS technology! Think about this for a minute -
Take just an ordinary blog opening sentence:
Today we had the funniest thing happen
Now read the futuristic blog opening sentence:
Today (or was it yesterday?) we, (well it wasn't our whole family, just me and my son), had the funniest, (okay it's not the funniest), well, (maybe to some people it wasn't funny at all), thing happen (oh bother this is boring me to death, how on earth would anyone else find it funny...now, what else should I write about...oh, good grief, I've got to get the meat out of the freezer...."hey kiddo, how's the math going?"...I can't believe I forgot to call mom again...YIKES...this thing has been writing all this down...I've got to turn this o..."
I mean can't you just see the horrors of this thing?? The editing alone would be a nightmare!
Nope, I'm sticking with the tried and true peck, peck, erase, peck...

What would be cool about this, though, would be the possibility of knowing the thoughts of those, like Terri Schiavo and Haleigh Poutre, who might not be able to express themselves any other way.

Sheryl,
I have been by here a lot in the last 2-3 days reading your posts and each time I plan to comment and tell you how much your thoughts are so similiar to my own.... but each time I get here, I read your newest posts and go linking away to all the sites that you include. : ) *lol So now I'm here..... and I wanted to tell you I enjoyed your "compassionate" post and feel the same way .... I also think your support idea for healthy living is a great idea (I just so happen to be on day #2 of my workout schedule thanks to all the talk goin' on around HSB) ... I also like posting about relatively "light" things though my dh knows I am very passionate about so much. Truth is- I love your humor and insights and feel so drawn to your blog.... I really hope that doesn't seem weird or whatever..... just wanted to say thanks for being YOU!! : )
In His Love,
Leslie : )

I love coming and checking out your blog! I love when the music loads up. It's so nice! thanks so much for that!
I too enjoy posting about little things and not so much the 'deep' issues. God is showing me more and more how to be still before HIM.
Have a great day!
