May. 21, 2006 - ~* Amnesty and Social Security? *~
Help me out here. I read THIS at Michelle Malkin's blog. Now, do I understand this correctly: the Senate wants to allow illegal immigrants who have used fraudulent identification (read: identity theft) to be able to receive Social Security benefits (is this the same Social Security system they are telling us is going broke and can't keep paying US citizens much longer???) based on what they supposedly "paid into the system" illegally and fraudulently??
And the guy who's id was stolen will probably be sent to jail for hate-speech, harrassment, and /or profiling if he dares try to prosecute the rewarded and soon-to-be legal citizen. If he's really lucky and doesn't end up in jail and actually clears his name, maybe the Senate will give him his Social Security benefits based on what the thief paid into it using his stolen identity.
Oh, right, how could I forget?! They're giving that money to the illegal alien.
Ummm....am I missing something?

And what is really infuriating to me is that both of our state's senators voted for this, including our repulican senator I campaigned for - a cuban immigrant! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! It ought to be interesting when all the people who have been working here, using the same SS number, try to obtain benefits! Did I say "Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!"
