How often have you read in your local paper, received a phone call, heard it on the news station, that someone's child drowned? Annie from My Life as Annie has experienced the chill and after math of a near-drowning first hand. If you are a parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle...in short, an adult who cares for kids, please, do yourself and those you care for a favor. Read this article by Annie. Be sure and read the statistics at the end of the article...you'll be surprised at the statistics and reminded that it only takes less than two minutes for a drowning to occur.
Annie is also hostessing a contest and giving away a video for teaching young children how to swim.

Thank you so much for helping to get information out about drownings. I wish I could forget that day ever happened, but I can't and I just hope that I can prevent it from happening to someone else.
