Mar. 12, 2007 - ~* Dream Vacation *~
Recently a friend mentioned she was taking a trip to Washington D.C. which is one of those places on our "someday" list. My honey and I would love to go to all 50 states and just take our time and enjoy the wonders and variety of our nation.

Several places in particular that we'd like to see in addition to Washington DC, is Amish country, Williamsburg, Mt. Rushmore...and that's just for starters :)
We'd also like to go beyond our borders and visit Canada, Europe, and Jerusalem.
Another dream vacation is to find a truly deserted beach and have it all to ourselves...but still be close enough to civilization to enjoy a romantic dinner out.

What is/are your dream vacation/s?

We have been on some great vacations already -
5 year anniversary - Bermuda
A couple trips to Disney World ( then we moved down here and we've been there WAY to much..LOL)
But I have 2 dream vacations - A scenic train ride out west to see the Grand Canyon and a cruise around Italy!!! Those would be awesome!!
What a cute idea - thanks for sharing!

this may sound funny, but I have always lived on the East Coast, and - ever since I was little - I've had a serious longing to see the Pacific Ocean. I've also always wanted to visit Italy, especially to see Great Art. Like you, I'd like to visit all 50 states someday, and many other places too.
Mar. 13, 2007 - ooooo what a fun thing to think about!

But vacations just aren't long enough. I want to settle in, relax, explore and experience the culture!

Right now a dream vacation would be a weekend in bed (any bed as long as it's clean and fluffy!)...
I then would choose a trip to England, fast moving but enjoying all the beauty in the little obscure country places...
Next I would take a cruise or a week in Hawaii or another tropical paradise and just enjoy the sun, beach, and all that goes with that.
Sounds wonderful :)

In November we visited DC, Amish Country, Gettysburg, Williamsburg, etc over a 16 day period and it *still* wasn't long enough! We absolutely love the area. :o)
My dream vacation would be to visit Prince Edward Island (Anne with an 'E' fame) or the English countryside with a 2 day jaunt to London to visit the British Museum which houses an original manuscript of the book of John. :o) Switzerland would be dreamy too.

For some reason I can't see all of your posts. The majority of the screen is taken up with the headers and sidebars. The posts are sorta half hidden behind all that. Might just be me though, but I'm not sure how to fix it so I can read it all.
