Feb. 18, 2006 - ~* Saturday Share-A-Blog Feb. 17, 2006 *~
Since last week's SSAB was so heavy-duty, I planned a light and fluffy version for this week (all except for the last entry from Steve Walden's blog) Getting it posted was anything but light and fluffy! Ever had one of those kinds of entries that just refuses to go up easily? Anyhow, my apologies to Steve because I think he ended up with a double trackback. One last note on this post: please run your browser over each paragrpah as some links are showing up as obvious links and others aren't.
Hope you all enjoy this week's SSAB.
I'm always looking for tools to help me in my ongoing quest to become more organized. ClassicalHomeSchool
has developed a week-at-a-glance form that has spaces to record the following:
Menu
Cleaning list
To Do list
Prayer Request Record
Homeschool Daily (5 sections, 1 for each day)
Library List (books to look for)
Supplies Needed (for experiments/art etc)
The best news? She'll send it to you for F R E E in a pdf format if you e-mail her requesting it. Don't you love things that benefit you and your family and are free?
Hey....here's another couple of posts to bring smiles to your face:
1)...the best lookin' pair of briefs you'll ever see...guaranteed to bring a smile to your face. Thanks TheRedSongbird of Home on the Range for the huge FREE grin!
2) Get a humorous and very unique perspective on the Olympics (including how to help your child qualify) from HSB's own comedianne TC at GoldfishinMyHair .
3) It's cute, it's cuddly, and it will leave you with the warm fuzzies. Thanks Mrs.Clark for sharing.
Here's a great site to help us newbie computer-geek-wannabes: Kim Komando I've caught her radio show several times accidentally and always been impressed with her info. Thanks to MrsMiz at the Miziwhogreenhouse
I now have a link to her site. Check it out...lot's of great stuff including "Kim's daily tip", "Kim's Kool sites", and much more.
And that concludes this week's SSAB...the light and fluffy version ;)...oh, yeah and it was F R E E!
One more blog post to share with you...(but it didn't fit in my light and fluffy category), one of our homeschool dad's here at HSB has written a great article about teacher's unions and John Stossel
is one of my favorite Dad's blog to read. He's a bit ecclectic like I am covering everything from politics to his thoughts and feelings as a husband and father. So, in addition to reading this great article on John Stossel and teachers unions, be sure and browse his blog. BTW...some time in March John Stossel is supposed to be having another special regarding teacher's unions. As soon as I get some hard and fast info, I'll share it with everyone. As you may or may not know, I'm not a huge fan of tv...but this is one program I want to catch.
One last note, I am having a drawing for one The Thinking Toolbox. Be sure and visit my Friday's Focus - The Thinking Toolbox for how to be entered into the drawing.

I read something that you posted on Sagrets blog about leaving a comment on your blog to be entered in a drawing for the book so I came over to get in on the act! I am always looking for ways to become better organized too. It's an ongoing, lifetime quest! Lol
