Jun. 8, 2007 - ~* Tagged for a Meme - 8 Things *~

Mikki at Under HIS Construction tagged me for this 8 things/habits about myself meme and since I love reading other bloggers memes, I was more than happy to play.
Here are the rules:

1. each player lists 8 facts/habits about themselves…
2. the rules of the game are posted at the beginning before the 8 facts/habits are listed…
3. at the end of the post, the player tags 8 people…posts their names…then goes to their blog and leaves a comment letting them know they have been tagged…and asking them to read your blog…

now for the facts/habits:

1.  I absolutely have. to. make. my. bed. in the morning immediately following my walk.  Can't stand not too...it will drive me crazy if I don't.  This is all thanks to Flylady.  When I was younger, it didn't bother me a whit!

2. I enjoy reading blogs and e-mails way too much...I really have to watch the time or...oh.my.word.  how time can fly in such non-productivity! Fun non-productivity...but, non-productivity.

3.  I'm a very private person.  Blogging is always a stretching experience for me.

4.  I totally worry that I say too much, am too boring, don't say enough...blogging becomes an issue in and of itself...until I remember, I started to do this solely to encourage my son to write (that was a huge success, btw!), and secondly to, hopefully, keep a journal of daily doings/recipes/photos.  But, as you could probably guess by #3, this is an ongoing struggle.

5. I love nature.  I find I'm most relaxed and feel so surrounded by God's love when I'm in a beautiful, natural setting.  I get very closed-in and caged-feeling when I can't get to beautiful surroundings.

6.  I have the weird ability to ignore certain blemishes in natural settings.  IE, I honestly never noticed or was bothered by our neighbors rusting cars/rv's directly in our balcony's line of view.  Instead, my eyes went further, to the hills which I love.  However the camera is not so forgiving and people that will come looking at our house when it goes on the market, may not be either.

7.  My very favorite place to go for vacation is Lord's Land on the Mendocino coast.  Oh!  I love being right on the rugged coast, surrounded by gorgeous redwoods and so many other kinds of trees.  That is someplace I'd love to live. 

8.  I'm the baby of the family.  I have two sisters and two brothers.  I broke the tie and don't think the boys have forgiven me yet.  Insult to injury, I was born on my eldest brothers 9th b'day. ;)
AND, I married a baby!

Now, I'll throw in a 9th thing because it pertains to this meme.

9.  I'm not normally a break-the-rules, just-to-break-the-rules kind of gal.
 But, I do know not everyone likes to be tagged, while others thoroughly enjoy playing tag. 
So,  I'm breaking one rule here, and instead of tagging eight people, I'm tagging anyone who enjoys memes and tags.
