Thursday, May 4, 2006 - Fun quiz
Ms. Anonymous just shared this fun quiz with me and I wanted to pass it along. It's only 4 questions, take it and if you'd like leave a comment with your results.
I scored as the "Tuned In" mother. (Sounds a bit "granola" to me... hey, don't be offended- I eat granola too!)
I'll leave it to Ms. Anonymous to share her results.
I have to say though that it is creepy how well it described her. It seemed to describe her sister (who also took it) and I pretty well too.
C'mon, it's fun and it's only 4 questions!
edited to add:
I retook the quiz to test the link ;).
There was one question I was torn on the first time and so I picked my other choice this time. The rest of the answers were the same, no questions there...
This time I scored as the "Love of Learning" mom. That description was just as accurate...so I guess I'm somewhwere in the middle.
So there you have it, I'm best described as a granola eating bookworm....
with a blog addiction!

Thursday, May 4, 2006 - Your type is: intj The Individual Integrity Mother
Posted by ChathamMommy
My kids are better off arguing their own point of view than telling me, But everyone else is doing it.
Individualistic and independent, the INTJ mother is both a role model and teacher of how to be an individual and live life with integrity. She is introspective, defining her own success from within, and generally confident in her decisions. She is unlikely to be persuaded by her children saying, But all the other mothers are doing it.
The INTJ is competent in providing for her childrens basic needs, but she is likely more focused on developing their self-esteem and confidence. Observant and insightful, she puts great importance on independent thinking and self-sufficiency, yet she is comfortable providing protection and boundaries.
Self-motivated and intense, the INTJ works hard and takes life seriously. As a mother, she lives for those moments when she can impart knowledge and offer her children perspectives on life and important issues.

I have been a big fan of the Briggs/Myers/Kiersey type indicator for years. I am an INFP (same thing you scored) mostly; though, I can mimic an INFJ when I am focused on a project.
One thing that I have noticed, there are very few 'IN's in the general population, but they are found often among homeschool moms who are active online. I think that is a very interesting phenomenon.
