I have CABIN FEVER! But the crazy thing is I don't want to go anywhere. I don't want to do anything, necessarily. I just want the snow and ice to go AWAY! I am ready for spring, flowers, sunshine, the smell of warm sunshine and new grass, and even bugs! For the last couple of days we have had above freezing temps and I have literally been passing back and forth in my house from the front door to the back door watching the snow SLOWLY melt. And by slow I mean
SLOW.
This is so crazy! I was raised in the Northwest where it is winter from early November to May, and really the air doesn't get real warm until late June. Now I live in the Mid-Atlantic and I can hardly stand a couple of weeks of winter. Really we had a very mild winter up until the beginning of Feb. In fact we had a day or two of near 70 temps in January. We have had a couple of snow storms and this last one dumped quite a bit of snow and ice and it has lasted a whole week and I'm going crazy. I am ready to move to Florida (or TEXAS!)

Me too. Lets go. I can have a bathing suit and a pair of shorts packed in two minutes.

I think San Diego is the best place to be. Of course, I've never been to Hawaii. That might be ncie too. Maybe we'll move to one of those place. Ha ha! Well, where ever we do end up, I think burning the empty boxes is a good idea

I put in a vote for Texas - it's more "down home" - and hey - big bonus - you already have great friends there. I was asking Tina yesterday about Tav - she said he's the same - and I am sure that adds to the cabin fever.
We would love to have the Pierces here anytime! Y'all are so special to us.
The warm weather isn't as fun without somebody to share it with! I'll tell you it was so warm yesterday that we hung out on the porch in short sleeves - and when I went to the store - I wore sandals! I am thinking about taking blankets off my bed!

I've been living in the northeast, was raised in NJ and now am in PA. I loved winter when it meant snow days off from school. Now that I'm a mom of three and trying to keep them from getting sick every other week with whatever is going around at church, I feel like I'm in prison. I feel like by the time I get child number three's snow pants, boots, hat, gloves, etc. etc, the first child is ready to come back in. Sheesh!
I love the outdoors and can't wait to greet the first buds of spring. Hang in there. It will come soon!
