Oct. 16, 2007 - We just finished New Zealand so we made....Pavlova
Actually ds12 did most of it and although it tasted delicious it looked funny. Unfortunately I didn't have any regular sugar and we had to use Sucanat for the merinque and the first time we whipped our fresh local cream we forgot about it and made sweet butter.
I added a little salt and it is actually pretty good.

Yes, I know not pretty. We tried to loosen the shell but it crumbled. Did I mention that it still tasted delicious?
Also, that knife he is holding is actually waiting to get me. It is going to slice my finger while I am slicing cabbage and require me to head to the dr. for stitches..... Yuck!
