Tuesday was close to perfect. Let me say that first. We went to School day at the Texas Renaissance Festival. We were given a wonderful curriculum guide to use. We met my sister, her family and their friends Denise, Simon, Denise's mom and their children. The boys played and played and played. We watched the Mud Show, Cast in Bronze, Bird's of Prey, Juggling and MORE! We ate until we couldn't eat anymore. (Yummmm turkey legs) Us ladies shopped until we almost dropped. The costumes were amazing and I have decided I will wear mine next year. We learned about Beefeaters, King Henry VIII, all of his wives and their families. We learned about the types of food and clothing they had in the renaissance era. We have been to the Renaissance Festival many times but never have we gone with the intent of learning. I must say this was the most enjoyable visit we have had yet. I'm already looking forward to next year!! God even blessed us with amazing weather! Here are some pictures of our trip to the Texas Renaissance Festival. Our next field trip will be November 17th at Liendo Plantation for the Civil War Reenactment.
