Homeschooling through fun, faith and a little bit of chaos!

Nov. 21, 2007

The fruits of my quiet weekend!

A couple of weekends ago, I was lucky enough to find myself with a whole weekend to myself. Chris had taken the boys on a cub / boy scout camping trip. I thought I would share some of the scrapbook pages I did.

Here is Dustin's baseball page from last season. Notice he's Yankee's and all the embellishments are Yankee's as well. (sorry about my camera strap getting in the way)

Here is last year's daycare confetti egg smash! (man I miss my daycare kids)

Finally, here is a 2 page layout I did of Christian in the bluebonnets

I am hoping to do some more pages but we'll see how my time goes. It's starting to get busy. Good news is we are ahead a bit in school so we are taking all of December off. No school work just lots of work on learning more about Advent.

I love the bluebell photos. Grew up in Texas myself and that's one thing I've always missed out here in Alabama over the last twenty years. :)

About Me

This is our life, laid out for you to enjoy. This is our first year homeschooling, mainly using the Charlotte Mason method but we aren't completely dedicated to one form or another. We are a Catholic family and use the Seton and Catholic Heritage curriculum and LOVE it. Join us as we begin our homeschool lives. I guarantee you it will be fun, spiritual and probably a little chaotic along the way. God is directing us so we will go where he leads!
