A Voyager At Last!
 Jerry on the Bridge
Pioneer Clubs is a Christian boys and girls club that we have at our church. Jeremiah has been in the youngest class, Scooters, for the last three years now. He has completed all of the curriculum for that class and at the end-of-the-year awards ceremony tonight, he got to "cross the bridge" from his Scooter teachers Miss Lacie and Miss Patti to his new Voyagers teacher Miss Kim.
He was so excited with his little Scooter shirt with all of its badges on it and his certificate of completion. He actually clapped for himself when his name was called and he walked up to the front to be recognized. Voyagers starts at first grade and, though Jeremiah is mostly still doing kindergarten work because of his learning disability, the teachers agreed that he had "paid his dues" in Scooters and was ready for the move.
We are so very proud of him. Any milestone in his life is a mountain climbed and conquered.
