Some people have been asking for an update on Louis, our service cat.  Well, he sits and comes on command, will do absolutely anything for ham, and we truly believe is a dog trapped in a cat's body!  He's so funny and so forgiving!  He loves to play with the kids and even tolerates Jeremiah chasing him and picking him up all day.  Jonathan is working with him on "lay down" now.  Still haven't leash trained him because I'm afraid he'd want to be outside so much that he might run for the door when we open it.  With a lake and alligators behind our apartments, this scares me.  Right now, he's more than content to just sit in the open window and feel the breeze, but he has no interest in outside.  Maybe once we've mastered "stay", outside won't worry me so much.
