First things first....test results. Jeremiah does NOT have Celiac Disease! Yeah!!! Though it would not have been life ending, it would have been life altering. He cannot, however, drink 100% fruit juices or eat any fruits that start with a "P" because of what's in them that makes them hard for his little system to handle. We have begun to see some promising changes with this new diet.
Next, we finished our farm unit study this week and boy did we have fun. Jerry learned about the foods that come from different animals, foods grown on a farm, what's in a silo, and so much more. We put it all together in a lapbook. Here are some pics.

I also found this great website that takes you on a virual tour of the story of milk, from the cow on the farm to you (http://www.moomilk.com/tour.htm). And as if that wasn't enough, God is so good. We went to MOSI one afternoon this week and there was a new exhibit there called, "From the Farm to Your Fridge". It was so cool! It even had a cow to milk! Jerry came running up to me, yelling, "Mom, a cow, a cow!" The whole story was there! Only God could have worked out that timing! And praise God, I just happened to have my camera with me.

Other fun at MOSI was a skeleton puzzle and a wheelchair maze. Boy, seeing Jeremiah in a wheelchair sure made me appreciate the little things and gave me a reality check for how much more challenging life with Jerry could be.
