Tea Cups in the Garden

• Oct. 3, 2007 - Day 4-Snaking Through the House

Posted in House Remodel

The inspector came and gave dh an A+ for the copper work and a few tweaking ideas for the pvc.  He was so impressed, he said dh should go into the plumbing business for himself!  Well, dh got a few more supplies and got to work tweaking.

Then.....I saw the garden hose in a most unusual place!  It was snaking through the back door...

up the stairs...

 through the bedroom...

and into the plumbing to check for leaks.  DS was downstairs at the back faucet on my cell phone getting instructions from dh.

Hurrah! No leaks!  By 10pm, all the holes were patched...

Hooray! No leaks *grin* That's always a good think : ) How exciting, now you can put in the second sink. We would like to remodel our bathroom to. It has a really 70ish style countertop with 2 sinks and one of the sinks doesn't work because the sink has actually got a hole in it near the drain hole in it so the entire sink needs replacing not just plumbing and all of the fixtures are pink and Dh doesn't like it. Gee I wonder why? LOL. But Dh is away so often for work that he needs to guarantee he's going to be home long enough to finish the job or I don't want him to start. I'd hate to have it half done and then he has to run to work!
Blessings to you and your family,

PS. What great experience for your son!

You have been so busy. It took me an entire summer to repaint my kitchen and look at you guys, doing a whole re-do on a bathroom. What brave souls! All that remodeling makes me jealous. LOL It's been 2 years and I'm still waiting for a new kitchen floor. Great work.
Blessings,
Ginny

About Me

Gardens thrill my soul. My senses awaken, my soul is refreshed, my mood calms down...and if given time for quiet ponder, I've enjoyed the sound of buzzing bees while collecting pollen, the delightful croak of shy Mr. Toad, the exuberant flutter a hummingbird near my face thanking me for scrumptious flowers, and the gentle touch of the butterfly who settles on my shoulder. I've been known to walk into the house with my hair showered in lavender crepe myrtle blossoms and my clothes covered in blue plumbago blooms. Picture a rustic wrought iron bistro set with floral cushions and gingham pillows under a crepe myrtle dripping in blooms. I've set out some tea. Come and sit with me while I catch you up on the latest of the happenings in my family. Welcome to my garden.
