When my husband set out to remodel our master bathroom, he planned on knocking it out in a whopping 11 days. He put in long hours and created a huge amount of dust. DS and I have been coughing and sneezing. I have been dusting though out the house several times a week, to keep things reasonably clean. In fact, dh’s bronchitis is not yet cured, being aggravated by working in the construction dust. He returned to work at the military base (his real job) and this is what the bathroom looked like on my birthday…
The old floor has been ripped out. The new wiring has been installed for the over the sink lighting. The old sink cabinet is being reused. He made it a bit longer and added a few decorative touches. Now that the old lighting is gone, the tall yellow lamp is in place.

The tub tile has been taken out and the cement board has been installed. The plumbing has been redone for new faucet fixtures.

This new wall unit was built and installed over the toilet a few weeks ago.

The toilet is now gone.

I’m thinking about slowing down school and doing all the painting so that he can get to work on tile work, etc.
