Posted in Books

Thank you, Katrina, for hosting this!  The Spring Reading Thing officially lasts from March 19-June 19. Participants will have their name entered for an amazon gift certificate!  Lots of time to read great books! Since I do tons of reading anyway, this should be fun!  We will soon be studying the French and Indian War, the American Revolution and the Constitution.  This is my absolutely favorite time period in history, so I am looking forward to preparing for these lessons and learning extra details for my own interest.

What wonderful book titles! I can tell you are a fan of Charles Swindoll. I am too. I have had a hold on John Adams by McCullough for ages and ages, and they always forget to call me when it comes in and it goes to the next person. I'm hoping this time they get it right and call me! Enjoy all your wonderful books!

Blessings,
Pam

sadly it would take me a year to read all those. LOL We are working on the same things in history as you are. We are using the Homeschool in the Woods Time Travelers study and so far it's been great fun and informative.
Hope you enjoy reading all those books.

About Me

Gardens thrill my soul. My senses awaken, my soul is refreshed, my mood calms down...and if given time for quiet ponder, I've enjoyed the sound of buzzing bees while collecting pollen, the delightful croak of shy Mr. Toad, the exuberant flutter a hummingbird near my face thanking me for scrumptious flowers, and the gentle touch of the butterfly who settles on my shoulder. I've been known to walk into the house with my hair showered in lavender crepe myrtle blossoms and my clothes covered in blue plumbago blooms. Picture a rustic wrought iron bistro set with floral cushions and gingham pillows under a crepe myrtle dripping in blooms. I've set out some tea. Come and sit with me while I catch you up on the latest of the happenings in my family. Welcome to my garden.
